Ice is Nice at the Prairie Pillow!

We have been coming the river since 1986 and I used to bring my own pots and pans , buy all the groceries, do all the cooking and make sure everything was just right for my group.  Well when I got done I was wore out and went home to get some rest.  In the last 10 years we have used guides and lodges to make our trip a very relaxing and pleasant time.  We used to stay closer to Pierre and fish the river from the Cheyenne south until we found the Prairie Pillow.  You will not find a better atmosphere for family to large groups.  Angie and her crew will make sure that you are having a good time and that you are getting what you expect.  I have brought out groups of 5 to groups of 20 and the service and hospitality is the same (excellent).  Here is how the day starts at the Pillow, First thing in the morning Angie will try to fill up with the best homemade breakfasts that a young farm boy like me could eat, then she will make you a nice shack lunch for the river and off you go with your guide to have a fun filled day of some the best walleye fishing on the Missouri River system.  Angie and her team of guides all come with years of experience, with very comfortable and safe boats equipped with all the fishing supplies you will need. (I do bring my own favorite pole)  After catching your limit you can expect to have one of the best suppers that you could ask for while sitting around a nice fire in the fireplace watching Angie’s big screen TV.
